Terms of service

Last updated June 25, 2026

These terms govern your use of Maplists. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Plain-language summary is at the top of each section; the formal language follows.

Your account

You must be 13 or older to use Maplists. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at security@maplists.app and we will lock the account while we investigate.

Acceptable use

Don't use Maplists to harass others, scrape data at scale, infringe copyrights, or do anything illegal. Public lists you publish must comply with our community guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You own everything you create on Maplists — lists, items, reviews, photos. By making a list public, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the product and link to it. You can make any list private (or delete it) at any time, and we stop displaying it within 24 hours.

Plus subscriptions

Maplists Plus is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually via your App Store or Google Play account. You can cancel any time and you'll keep Plus features until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods, but reach out to support if something is genuinely wrong and we'll do right by you.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The product is provided "as is." Maplists is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll notify you in-app and by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of Maplists after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for the app to work and to understand which features get used. You decide what's on.
